When I was twelve years old my Dad asked me what colour I wanted to paint my bedroom walls.
“Aqua blue and white.”
Dad said yes. So for the past nine years I’ve been sleeping in a poorly decorated bedroom that has been commonly misunderstood as a young boys room.
When my sister moved out a few weeks ago, I decided it was time for me to upgrade to the room with a view. Sadly, when she was twelve, she told Dad to paint her room purple.
So today is the day that we finally begin painting. Four walls, one paint brush.
Stay tuned for the results.
