A few things:
- The toilets are gross. Hold it in.
- There are plenty of sandflies, so bring bug spray!
- This spot will cost you zilch. Not a cent.
- This is just off the road, not far from Arthur’s Pass village, and a great spot to sleep before or after tackling Avalanche PeakAvalanche Peak.
